Ecommerce agency on the hunt for 11 developers across its Manchester, Newcastle and Stockton offices

Ecommerce and digital marketing agency, Visualsoft, has announced plans to recruit 11 new developers across its Newcastle, Manchester and Stockton offices, bolstering its innovation and focus on excellence for an array of retail and consumer-facing clients.

Four of the roles will be focused specifically on Visualsoft’s ecommerce platform, the company’s flagship product relied upon by over 1,000 retailers. These roles, based in Stockton and Newcastle, include a Lead Mobile Developer; an R&D Developer for the API team and a Senior Developer working on multichannel ecommerce.

Additionally, Visualsoft is also seeking to hire six Projects Developers across either its Stockton, Newcastle or Manchester offices. These positions will provide support to existing customers, as well as help the company to develop new features and complete bespoke projects.

Finally, the company is looking for two PHP Support Developers, who will be based in the Stockton office. Reporting into the Lead Support Engineer, the crux of their role will be on providing support to existing customers, as well as identifying and suggesting key areas of improvement.

Visualsoft also runs a ‘bounty hunter’ scheme, whereby anyone who refers an individual to the firm who ultimately secures a job receives a financial reward for doing so. Those who successfully refer a friend or family member for a Project Developer role, for example, could stand to receive £2,000.

Complementing the recruitment drive, Visualsoft has expanded its Newcastle office, taking on 4,000 sq ft of new space. This space will be allocated purely for developers.

Neil Innes, Visualsoft CTO, said:

“We’re very excited to be expanding our development function so substantially. Developers are absolutely key to not only ensuring we keep innovating and enhancing our offerings, responding to customers’ needs and staying ahead of our competitors, but also to ensuring our existing customers are properly supported. We’re very much looking forward to welcoming some exciting new talent to the team and seeing how creatively they can drive Visualsoft forward.”
