Truespeed appoints Virgin Media veteran Simon Wall to drive its fibre network delivery

Full fibre infrastructure provider and ISP Truespeed has boosted its executive team with the appointment of Virgin Media veteran Simon Wall as Director of Operations. Simon has been brought in to accelerate the deployment of Truespeed’s Active Ethernet 10Gbps-capable network delivery programme across the south west of England.


Simon has extensive broadband build experience, including a decade-long tenure at Virgin Media where latterly he was Head of Build for Liberty Global’s Project Lightning ultrafast broadband roll out, charged with overseeing a programme worth £700 million annually. Prior to that, Simon lead various functions at Telewest and Virgin Media including partner/contractor management, field operations, data services, headend and demand management.


Simon’s appointment comes as Truespeed prepares to accelerate its network build, providing residential and business customers in the south west of England with a future-proof, Active Ethernet 10Gbps-capable full fibre service.
