Tech firm upscaling with help from BoardroomAdvisors


A south west firm which helps SMEs to scale up rapidly by giving access to experienced part-time directors is aiming to double turnover for a specialist tech firm. will be devising product development and new market strategies for DeltaXML’s document and data comparison products.

The Bristol-headquartered executive recruitment firm will also be advising DeltaXML on a succession planning strategy.

Denise Finch,’s regional director for Gloucestershire and Worcester, will be overseeing the work. She brings over 35 years in commercial banking, with director level experience in business development.

Finch is joined by her fellow BoardroomAdvisor Mark Thomas, a tech entrepreneur who has over 20 years of experience running software firms. A specialist in content management systems and project management software, Thomas has worked with brands such as Manchester United, Cardiff Airport and thinkBooker.

DeltaXML develops data comparison software which transforms the way firms find and process differences and updates in complex structured documents such as aircraft manufacturing manuals and pharmaceutical labelling. Many of the larger commercial, legal and technical publishers rely on DeltaXML in their editing and publishing procedures. aims to disrupt the recruitment market by providing direct access to a talent pool of part-time executive directors for commercial, operations and CEO roles. It allows scale-ups, SMEs and their private equity backers to rapidly fill gaps in the management team, with no recruitment fees and a fraction of the cost of a full-time hire.
