- Correla has rebranded their uMESH platform as Waypoint
- Comes as part of Correla's strategic acquisition of CloudKB last year
- Fully- configurable SaaS platform for smart asset commissioning
Energy software specialist Correla has launched Waypoint, the updated, rebranded uMESH platform after the company's strategic acquisition of CloudKB, bringing Waypoint into Correla's wider suite of products designed to help transform and support innovation within the energy industry.
Waypoint is an industry-leading, unrivalled asset commissioning and workflow management solution specifically for the energy industry, proven in the field over the past five years. Fully automated and enabling providers to accurately monitor and track asset deployment, job status and engineer activity, Waypoint integrates with all major CRM systems to provide real-time tracking, bringing about improved efficiencies and an enhanced end-user experience.
Waypoint is a rebrand of the former CloudKB uMESH product, acquired to enhance Correla's energy SaaS solutions that help manage and decarbonise the energy industry. Correla acquired CloudKB in early 2022 to strengthen its SaaS offering to the industry.
Waypoint can provide tracking on job installations, assets and meter data; collating information and uploading it into central systems in a streamlined process. Benefits of Waypoint include increased workforce productivity, full compliance and seamless integration with existing systems and data flows. Delivered through a cloud platform and mobile app, it's designed to support asset rollout programmes across the entire energy sector.
Chris Parkes, Marketing Director at Correla says: "Launching Waypoint is an exciting time for Correla. It forms part of a wider product suite rebrand which intends to reposition all our products to help market participants navigate complex challenges across the industry, particularly through the advancement of technology and data. Focused on delivering the most accurate, valuable and intuitive software for the energy industry, we are now bringing Waypoint into our suite of fully adaptable SaaS platforms, comprehensive managed services and unrivalled energy industry knowledge, to deliver maximum value to our customers.
"Our acquisition of CloudKB is part of our wider, long-term business strategy to drive the industry forward and accelerate the adoption of other smart assets such as EV charging points and heat pumps within the UK. As part of that, we hope the Waypoint product will help to better connect the energy and utility markets, reduce operational inefficiencies and contribute to the UK's ambition to decarbonise as quickly and simply as possible.
"We are officially launching the newly rebranded Waypoint product at Utility Week live on 16th and 17th May, and would love to provide demonstrations of Waypoint or to discuss its capabilities in more detail with those in the energy and water sectors."
Waypoint joins Discovery, Meridian and Contour in Correla's suite of SaaS platforms and products that are powering change in the energy market.
