New Collaboration Announced for Manchester’s Creative, Digital and Media Industry

A new collaborative venture between two of Manchester’s leading organisations, who represent the Creative, Digital and Media sector in Manchester ; Creative pro-manchester (part of the wider pro-manchester sector group) and MPA (Manchester Publicity Association) are joining forces to deliver a series of joint events.

The MPA, a leading not for profit membership organisation for the Creative Digital and Media industries in Greater Manchester, brings together the industry for debates, networking training and social events. Creative pro-manchester also runs a programme of initiatives designed to help support the business community engage with the Creative, Digital and Media Sector, aiding collaboration and promoting work within the region. The joint collaboration between the two will help support the city’s continuing creative and digital success and promote upcoming opportunities available for the industry and region.

The first event will be taking place on 7th September at MediaCom. Titled ‘The Future of Creative and Digital’, the event will be a platform for some of Manchester’s leading industry experts to come together to discuss; the city’s digital success, the greatest challenges Manchester digital firms face and the future opportunities for the industry.

Confirmed speakers at the event will include; Erica Ingham- MediaCom North, Alex Connock- Digital Video Entrepreneur, Mikael Hellberg- Animation and Media, Access to Music and Matt Hunt, CEO, Apadmi.

In addition to the panel discussion, delegates will also be encouraged to get involved in the conversation with numerous roundtables designed to give the industry an opportunity to mingle with one another and share stories on challenges and opportunities impacting their business.
