Food delivery platform Foodhub has launched plans to rival Just Eat with the appointment of two new senior management roles.

Following 12 months of significant growth, Foodhub is moving swiftly with its audacious 2020 hyper-growth strategy and has onboarded ex Director of GoDaddy Philip Mostyn and SamsonVT’s Chief Technology Officer, Paul Hodkinson.

With a combination of three decades’ experience, Philip and Paul will revolutionise and drive the growth of restaurant and takeaway delivery platform, Foodhub.

Philip brings over 17 years of experience in the technology sector combined with a wealth of involvement in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Call Centre environment, leading teams in excess of 1,500 staff across all verticals and business functions. Philip has a proven track record for exceeding key performance indicators and managing multi-million pound budgets.

Philip’s most recent experience comes from GoDaddy where he was UK Director of Operations. His motivational leadership style will drive operational and procedural planning, whilst developing managers and front line staff to execute strategic agility and problem solving to better serve our clients and customers.

Paul joins Foodhub as Chief Technology Officer and arrives from SamsonVT. With over 10 years of experience in the technology sector, he has worked with a number of businesses, including YouTube disrupter, Brave Bison and Santander start-up, Mortgage Engine, to drive growth through technology innovation.

Paul will drive technological change and develop project delivery strategies designed to elevate Foodhub to become the number one food delivery platform nationally and globally.

A. Mula, Foodhub, said:

“We welcome Philip and Paul to Foodhub. Their appointments will deliver a massive impact to Foodhub, enabling us to outperform existing providers such as Just Eat, Deliveroo and UberEats.

“The last two years have given us a strong foundation & confidence in our product. With a total of 30m orders in 2019, now is the time to push forward. Our unique business model provides customers and partners a better deal than any of our competitors and will use this as a basis to disrupt the market.”

Philip commented:

“I am thrilled to be working with the team at Foodhub. To guide the company to achieve the hyper growth targeted in 2020 and beyond. My core objective is to ensure that Foodhub delivers a world-class customer experience to our customers and partners, making every interaction a positive and rewarding one.”

Paul added:

“I am excited to propel Foodhub to its full potential in the food delivery sector. With our 0% commission policy and a technology platform that delivers more to the customer, we aim to dominate the likes of Just Eat, Deliveroo and UberEats. The challenge is to ensure Foodhub is scalable & agile enough to support hyper growth, whilst remaining easy to use for our customers.”

Foodhub is forecasted to more than triple in growth in 2020, after seeing a 400% growth in orders in 2019.
