Midlands marketing agency 5874 has announced a partnership with BigCommerce, making it the ecommerce platform’s first Elite Partner in Europe, and the second outside of the United States. As part of the BigCommerce Partner Program, 5874, which specialises in ecommerce, branding, and digital marketing campaigns, will be able to offer clients custom, omnichannel commerce solutions powered by BigCommerce, the leading ecommerce platform for fast-growing and mid-market brands.
The partnership is the latest string to the company’s bow, and will see it bring a new level of integration, service and support for its clients selling with BigCommerce. Already, 5874 has used its expertise in operating the platform to complete work with well-known fashion brands like Yumi, Mela London and Want That Trend; interiors experts Chickidee; and car-part specialists JGS4x4.
Speaking about the company becoming an Elite Partner, Rupert Cross, 5874’s co-founder and digital director, said:
“Securing this partnership has been a monumental milestone for 5874 and has helped cement our status as big players in the industry; not just in the UK, but on a global scale. We’re incredibly proud that we are able to offer our clients the highest possible expertise and service, and we feel this partnership further illustrates that the specialist skillset of the 5874 team is fundamental to all we do.”
Companies of all sizes work with BigCommerce to launch, promote, manage and scale successful online businesses through its platform. According to analysis conducted by market research firm Ipsos, online stores built on BigCommerce grow approximately twice as fast as the ecommerce industry average. By selecting a flexible, cost-effective SaaS model, retailers are able to focus on managing their business, not the technology behind it.
This is something that 5874 prioritises in its work, guaranteeing clients ‘Success by Design’. Since establishing the company in 2012, 5874 has gone from strength to strength; initially setting up with 2 staff, the team is now 12 strong, with over 100 years’ collective experience. This is after a particularly momentous year, which has doubled the size of the team and continued to grow 50% year-on-year turnover. Despite being the only European Elite Partner, 5874 is still proudly local; with all of the work carried-out from its Birmingham-based offices in Digbeth by UK-based developers.
“The past year in particular has been one of immense growth for 5874 and becoming an Elite Partner for BigCommerce is the pinnacle of a tremendous 12 months. Looking ahead, we are of course focussed on making the most of this partnership, expanding our portfolio of retail clients searching for ecommerce expertise. We are also recruiting a further two members of staff to join the team, allowing us to continue providing the very best level of service we can. The entire team is greatly looking forward to building on our existing relationship with BigCommerce in our new capacity as Elite Partner, and we can’t wait to see what the next 12 months brings,”
concluded Rupert.
