A market-leading construction technology specialist is gearing up for growth after being acquired by Access Group, an integrated business management software provider.

Bolton-based ConQuest – which develops estimating, cost planning, and surveying software – has joined Access Group’s supply chain division, in a move that will see it increase its expertise to deliver more services to customers.

Commenting on the deal, Andy Day from ConQuest, said:

“We are extremely excited to join Access Group and are confident that our customers will be too since it enables us to remain at the forefront of product development in our sector.

“It’s great to be part of a company that understands and shares our vision for innovation and exceptional service. Like us, Access is a people-led software provider that cares about its customers.

“Access Group will now play a key role in helping us make our ideas a reality, thanks to its expertise in supply chain management, finance and accounting, project management, cloud hosting and much more. Access has a wealth of resources and industry-leading knowledge that will help us realise our ambitions.”

Founded more than 30 years ago, ConQuest already supplies most of the top 100 UK and Ireland contractors, as well as hundreds of smaller contractors, and will continue to trade under its existing name. Andy added:

“We are extremely proud of the reputation we’ve built, supporting thousands of new and long-standing users in the UK and Irish markets. With Access Group, we can introduce new services – yet it remains ‘business as usual’ and our tight-knit team is fully committed to the ConQuest community.”

Welcoming ConQuest onboard, Steve Norman, head of marketing at Access Supply Chain said:

“ConQuest is precisely the kind of forward-thinking business we want to work with, and this is a real opportunity to grow our presence in the construction sector. Like us, the team is well aware of the role digital technology plays in enabling firms, including SMEs, to improve efficiency, make commercial gains and future-proof their operations.

“The partnership means ConQuest customers can benefit from additional services such as financials, disaster recovery, scheduling, CRM and more, safe in the knowledge that their trusted support team are still on hand to answer any questions and help them get the most out of the software.”

Access Supply Chain develops manufacturing, warehousing and logistics software for firms in a range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, aerospace, and food and drink.
