The Indian Brewery Expands Its Presence in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter with Excing New Brewery and Taproom

The Indian Brewery is thrilled to announce its official expansion into a new premises in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, St Paul's Square.


Situated on the corner of Mary Ann Street and Livery Street within an iconic building, the new locaGon highlights The Indian Brewery's commitment to becoming an integral part of the local community. The Jewellery Quarter, with its rich history and atmosphere, provides the perfect backdrop for the brewery's growth.


"Phase 1 of the development will focus on making the brewery operaGonal, ensuring the conGnual producGon of a diverse range of beers – from tradiGonal to modern and vibrant beers – along with experimental, seasonal, and collaboraGve brews." said Jay Purewal, Head Brewer.


In Phase 2, the brewery will introduce a unique taproom experience featuring an extensive number of beer taps, games area and theatre kitchen with live sports on the big screen. This taproom will be disGnct and separate from the exisGng Indian Brewery Snowhill locaGon, known for its excepGonal modern Indian street food. The new taproom is set to enhance the Jewellery Quarter's culinary landscape by combining craO beer with a delicious menu of innovaGve food, all made fresh on-site.

The taproom will not only showcase a diverse range of craO beers but also offer a curated selecGon of natural, organic, and low-intervenGon wines. In addiGon to signature cocktails, patrons can explore the finest low/no-alcohol beverages, ensuring a comprehensive experience for all to enjoy.


The Indian Brewery's commitment to quality, innovaGon, and community engagement remains at the forefront of this expansion. Birmingham is in for a treat as The Indian Brewery brings its unique blend of craO brewing and culinary creaGvity to this iconic locaGon.
