Smart Home Sounds, the Gloucester-based smart speaker retailer has moved to a new, purpose designed headquarters. The new premises at Triangle Park, Metz Way, Gloucester has been designed and the fit out managed by company MD and founder Andy Hazell.

The company, who in September 2019 reported a growth of 100% over two years and an annual turnover of £3million, is a retailer for smart speakers and stocks ranges by Sonos, Bluesound, Kef, Bowers and Wilkins and, most recently, Marshall.

The smartly lit stair case leads to the main open plan office area housing marketing, customer service and finance. The scheme features plenty of plants, especially chosen to help filter the air and low emission white light task lighting, all mainstays of good biophilic design. Add in Herman Miller chairs, vaulted ceilings, neon lightboxes and, of course, the very latest in AV and audio throughout and the new Smart Home Sounds HQ is very much a headquarters to shout about.

Andy Hazell, MD, Smart Home Sounds says:

“Moving into these new headquarters marks an important milestone for Smart Home Sounds. We finally have the space we need to grow the business and I’m proud of the creative innovative workspace we’ve created. The opportunities for creativity are endless so I’m looking forward to seeing what the future brings in our beautiful new home.”

The two-storey headquarters boasts a state-of-the-art showroom for creating content to demonstrate how products can be set up and used in customers’ own homes. This will be used alongside a dedicated filming area so the marketing team can create their popular and informative online content, something the company is becoming synonymous with. Smart Homes Sounds proudly differentiates themselves from other retailers by offering customer support in the form of online tutorials and vlogs on their You Tube channel and website to help customers find the right product to suit them, alongside installation help and general tips and hints.
