New operators have taken space in Gloucester’s thriving Westgate.

Shakes 2Go will open its first outlet in the city following a deal brokered by Bruton Knowles.

William Matthews from the firm’s Gloucester office said:

“Now, Shakes 2Go is aiming to make a splash in what has become a busy retail spot.

“The shop is across the road from Gloucester Cathedral, which has received a £6m refurbishment, while the popular Raging Bull shop is just across the road. There are also new student halls being built just around the corner so footfall will become even stronger in this location.

“Good occupiers are raising the profile of this corner of Gloucester’s main shopping precinct.”

Local occupiers include Liquor and Chow and Hubble Bubble.

The shop offers some 400 sq ft of ground floor retail space together with basement storage.
