Kitchen retailer Kutchenhaus has opened its first ever store in Bath, marking its 34th showroom to open in the UK.

The store, at Saracen Street near Waitrose, has opened its doors to the public, serving customers across Bath and surrounding areas. The new showroom will harness the latest technology to provide virtual appointments and use its new online 3D planning and design tool to create kitchens remotely for local customers that do not wish to come to the store.

Boasting 1400 square foot of retail space across two floors, the Bath store will employ three new members of staff in customer services and kitchen design. The shop will be managed by Rob Cash, who after nearly four successful years with his Bristol showroom is now growing the business by opening at a second location. Rob has managed the Bristol showroom and prior to this has over 15 years of kitchen design experience.

Kutchenhaus (www.kutchenhaus.co.uk) is owned by Nobilia, Europe’s largest kitchen manufacturer, providing stylish, German-designed ranges at the lowest possible price, without compromising on quality. Customers in Bath have the added peace of mind that kitchens they order now will be delivered on time, with minimal disruption currently being experienced to the firm’s supply chain and manufacturing process in Germany.

Rob Cash, business owner of Kutchenhaus in Bath, commented on the opening:

“The team is incredibly excited to be opening the brand-new store in Bath, and are looking forward to welcoming the community through the doors. We plan on having a socially distanced launch, where we will invite people to the showroom in specific staggered time slots.

“It has taken six weeks to completely transform the space to Kutchenhaus’ high-quality standards. We are looking forward to meeting shoppers and introducing them to the new showroom. There are a number of home improvement companies in this area of Bath which will make it a perfect place to visit if you are planning to improve your home. Our location is very similar to the location of our Bristol showroom, which gives us confidence we can be successful in the town.”

Sean Ford, national head of sales and operations for Kutchenhaus, said:

“Kutchenhaus is on an ambitious growth path over the next 2-3 years, however being in the grip of a global pandemic has certainly presented some challenges and even positively altered the way we do business in some cases. It is therefore extremely satisfying that Rob and the team are now in a position to be able to open a new store in Bath and offer local customers the opportunity to plan and design their dream kitchen.

“We are very excited to be part of the new showroom opening in Bath a community we believe is in a good vibrant location and is connected well to the surrounding areas. The new store will no doubt offer an engaging store environment and deliver a high-quality product, a market opportunity which we know is currently in high demand. We wish Rob and the team all the best and wait to see their future success.”

Established in 2004, Kutchenhaus is a franchise business owned by Europe’s largest kitchen manufacturer, Nobilia. Customers can both buy online at www.kutchenhaus.co.uk or one of its 34 showrooms across the UK.
