British owned watch brand Hagley West has reached $1 million turnover, less than three months after owner and founder Tim Hayden temporarily relocated to America. This figure is already more than was achieved in the whole of 2022 and ensures that the business is now the world's fastest growing watch business.
Hayden arrived in New York on 20th February and since then has sold more than 7,620 watches to 5,247 new customers, as well as loyal returning customers. The success of the brand's growth comes down to a unique social media marketing strategy driven by Hayden, which in recent months has included a ‘first of its kind' simultaneous multi-platform live stream to launch a series of new Hagley West watches, which helped contribute to the record-breaking figures.
"What we've achieved with this US trip in less than three months is quite staggering,"
outlined Hayden. "We can now safely say that we are the world's fastest growing watch brand, having recorded a turnover of $1 million since 20th February. Who would have thought that was possible just a few years ago?"
Hayden continued, "The company message of #Loveyourjourney has gone far and wide and I do think it's that which resonates with people. We all have different experiences in life and I think we've built a community now through connecting on that basis, which I'm very proud of."
"It's been great fun meeting so many new people and although we return home to the UK soon, it won't be long before we'll be back in the US. Before then we've got some really exciting plans for the next few months, including a special charity cricket event in Menorca."
Hagley West is a small UK business that is less than five years old and run primarily from Hayden's UK home, with his kitchen doubling as his office. Nevertheless, each year has seen a significant increase in profits and social media following.
