Property consultancy, Vail Williams LLP, has appointed graduate surveyor Oli Muscutt to support the growth of the firm’s agency work across the Midlands.

Oli joins Vail Williams’ Birmingham team from Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) where he specialised in property valuation, working on loan security valuations and a range of residential schemes in and around Birmingham.

In his new role as a graduate surveyor at Vail Williams, Oli will support the firm’s growing office and industrial agency team, which was recently bolstered with the arrival of associate Charlotte Fullard - also from LSH.

Working alongside Charlotte and partner Carole Taylor, Oli will act for landlords, developers and occupiers on the letting, sale and acquisition of all types of commercial property across the Midlands.

Speaking of his appointment, Charlotte Fullard, associate and head of acquisitions and disposals for the Midlands and North at Vail Williams, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Oli to our team at what is a busy time in the office and industrial market across the Midlands.

“His career to date has given him an excellent grounding and knowledge base which he will bring to this new agency role, where his enthusiasm and motivation to meet clients’ needs will no doubt shine through.”

Oli, a Real Estate graduate from Nottingham Trent University, spent two years with LSH and is currently part-way through his RICS APC Assessment, which Vail Williams will now support him in completing over the next 12-months.

Commenting on his appointment, he said:

“The experience I gained at LSH was invaluable and is something I am looking to take forward into my new role as a surveyor at Vail Williams. The firm is well-established and renowned in the Midlands property market, and I look forward to supporting the continued growth of their agency work over the coming months and years.”

Vail Williams, a full-service property consultancy, acts for a range of occupier, landlord investor and developer across the Midlands, including National Express, Molson Coors, First Group and Shell Energy.

Oli will be based at Vail Williams’ offices on Newhall Street in central Birmingham.
