On Friday 6th September, Leicestershire based QDTS Construction were named ‘Employer of the Year’ at the Niche Magazine Business Awards. For the team at QDTS it was a huge accomplishment to have been nominated and to make it to a finalist position, let alone to win the award.
The Niche Business Awards has been celebrating Leicestershire’s finest businesses since 2015. Planned and hosted by the staff at Niche Magazine, this year’s event was held at the Athena in Leicester’s Cultural Quarter.
The Employer of the Year award looks for businesses who invest in upskilling their staff, provide their team with regular support and offer great initiatives. Sponsored by Shakespeare Martineau, this award celebrates businesses that create an exceptional working environment and opportunities for their employees.
QDTS Construction was established in 2014 by Managing Director, Terry Benson. Starting out as a project and design management company, QDTS have now developed into a main contractor and work on a host of multi-disciplined projects in sectors such as new build housing, apartment blocks and student accommodation.
Managing Director, Terry Benson, was exceptionally grateful for the award:
