Origin Workspace, Bristol’s award-winning coworking space dedicated to ‘proworking’ is now taking bookings for Phase 2 of the development. Located at 40 Berkeley Square in Clifton, the £8 million renovation is close to completion. Set to open in December 2019, floor space will be doubled to over 42,000 sq ft of Grade A coworking and private office space aimed at small and scale up businesses.

Phase 1 of Origin Workspace opened in May 2019 and reached 100% capacity within a month. Once Phase 2 is complete, Origin Workspace will have two roof terraces and house over 450 members across its range of memberships including lounge, hot desk, dedicated desks and private offices.

Private offices available in Phase 2 will fill a much-needed gap in the Bristol market for ‘grow on’ businesses who need premium space for between 4 and 30 people. Private offices can also be configured to come with their own meeting rooms.

Rob Hingston, Head of Origin Workspace, commented,

“The ‘proworking’ movement is resonating well with many organisations who seek a high specification workspace to match their professional identity.”

Origin Workspace is attracting members from a diverse range of sectors, including law, IT, edutech, financial services, property, architecture, engineering and AI & robotics.

“Companies are seeing the benefit of being in a workspace where they can hit the ground running, scale, grow and benefit from the ready-made network Origin provides.”

Hingston added.

Workspace facilities include a wellness space offering a gym and studio and sizeable roof terraces with sweeping views of central and south Bristol. Ergonomically friendly workstations, natural ventilation and great design come as standard.

Origin Workspace is already receiving accolades for its design including Commercial Workspace of the Year at the Insider South West Property Awards 2019.
