Due to the rapid expansion of its business, independent commercial building surveying firm Malcolm Hollis LLP has moved to new and larger premises in Bristol city centre.
Malcolm Hollis’ new address is 40 Queen Square, Bristol, BS1 4QP. The new premises provide the firm with additional capacity to grow its team and expand its service offering in the South West.
Since its opening in Bristol in 1994, the business has gone from strength to strength. Malcolm Hollis has grown its client and project portfolio, working with the likes of Thames Water, Columbia Threadneedle and Ashville Properties. The firm has also grown the size of its team to 21 people and they have increased turnover to over £2 million in the last financial year.
The office move comes off the back of Malcolm Hollis promoting three of its team members last month. James Key was promoted to Partner, and Richard Hunt and Will Pasco promoted to Associate. The promotions demonstrate the firm’s commitment to nurturing and retaining the industry’s best talent.
James Key joined Malcolm Hollis in 2003 as a graduate and now specialises in dilapidations and the delivery and co-ordination of RCA advice and portfolios. James has a first class degree in building surveying from Sheffield Hallam University.
Richard Hunt joined Malcolm Hollis in 2015 from GL Hearn Ltd where he was a Senior Building Surveyor. He provides advice on refurbishment and construction projects, contract and project management, dilapidations, party wall matters and building surveys.
Will Pasco joined Malcolm Hollis in 2014 after attending the University of the West of England, where he gained a degree in building surveying.
James, Richard and Will were three of 35 individuals in 10 locations across the UK and Ireland to gain promotion at Malcolm Hollis in May.
Commenting Alex Brown, Partner at Malcolm Hollis Bristol, said: “We are delighted with our new premises which are located closer to a number of our clients. Our focus for the year ahead is to expand even further into the South West of England.”
