Lovell Partnerships has been re-appointed by Midland Heart to continue refurbishing the kitchens and bathrooms in its homes over the next five years in a new contract worth £10 million.

Lovell’s Midlands region has been working with the leading Midlands-based housing association since 2015 on the previous contract, installing new kitchens and bathrooms in more than 2000 homes.

The new contract will support Midland Heart’s plans to update thousands of its properties across the region and will include kitchen and bathroom upgrades, wet rooms and level access shower installations.

Lovell will have full responsibility for the installations, including managing the customer journey, surveying, planning, health and safety, quality and budget control. Working to tight timescales to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction the works will cover the wide and varied mix of Midland Heart’s property portfolio including houses, flats and sheltered accommodation.

Carl Yale, Regional Refurbishment Director for Lovell Midlands said,

“We are very proud of the work we’ve done for Midland Heart over the past five years. Our project teams consistently deliver high quality workmanship, achieving excellent levels of customer satisfaction within the strict timescales.

“We are delighted to have been appointed once again to deliver this important project. This demonstrates our commitment to long term relationships with our clients providing repeat business. We look forward to continuing our work with Midland Heart and their customer to bring improvements to their homes.”

Rob Kraska, Senior Contracts Manager at Midland Heart, said

“We’re very pleased to be working with Lovell again. They’ve been an excellent partner who not only deliver to consistently high standards, they manage each project for us from start to finish and crucially put the needs of our customers at the forefront – as shown by the high satisfaction scores we received throughout the previous contract.

“We’re committed to providing high quality affordable housing and are investing £100million over a five year period to upgrade our stock and improve people’s homes for them. It’s great to have Lovell on board to help us do this.”
