As Developers Open The Doors To Copper Building Penthouses On 5th October

Customers will have their first chance to view a new range of penthouses in South Bristol next week, as developers Urban Splash and Places for People open the doors to the Copper Building on Saturday 5th October.

These brand new images give buyers a first glimpse inside the homes – and the impressive external copper façade. The pictures feature a new show penthouse which has been designed by Bristol-based interiors company Studio, B who’ve used local artists and suppliers to create the interior aesthetic.

In total, the completed Copper Building will comprise 136 duplex and apartments offering up to 947 sq ft of living space, with homes available for sale or for rent. They each come with dual aspect views over the site’s lake and 10 acres of private gardens – exclusively for residents’ use. The majority of homes also offer outside balcony space.

Sales director Guy Ackernley explained:

“We’re thrilled to be opening the doors to Copper Building; this is the first chance for customers to come and look around the building and see the first completed penthouses, which offer spacious living with excellent design features – and of course the area’s best views.”

Designed by Bristol-based architects Ferguson Mann, Copper Building sits on the Lakeshore site – once home to one of the city’s biggest employers – Imperial Tobacco. The restored, original Cor-Ten office building is filled with 270 completed homes, while the new Copper Building brings a final 136 homes to the neighbourhood.

The homes are set amongst 10 acres of green space and a lake; prices start at £250,000 for the penthouses; with Help to Buy available, homeowners could soon be living the high life with just a £15,000 deposit. Apartments are also on sale with prices from £150,000.

Concluded Guy:

“Help to Buy is a great initiative which has helped so many buyers across the country; the low deposit requirements make even a penthouse, 10 acres of gardens, and a lake even more attainable. Plus with rental properties available, the scheme really does offer something for everyone.

“Rich in luscious landscape, Lakeshore and Copper Building offer brilliantly designed homes inside and our residents can enjoy the site’s orchard, willow glade, a jogging route, and allotments. Additionally, the site benefits from easy transport access – be that via foot, bike, bus, train or car.”

As well as viewing the first homes at the launch event, customers can also find out about renting a home within Copper Building.
