Integritas Property Group (IPG), a leading ethical property developer in the North West, is today announcing a partnership with Homes for Students for its latest project, Deakin's Yard in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. This partnership will bring together the expertise of IPG in developing high-end student accommodation and the knowledge and experience of Homes for Students in managing and operating student properties.

Deakin's Yard is a unique development, which was once known as the Sky Building, that will offer state-of-the-art student accommodation with shared facilities. The project is ideally located with immediate access to Keele University and is only a short distance away from Staffordshire University and Royal Stoke University Hospital, making it the perfect home for students in the town.

Through this partnership, IPG will benefit from Homes for Students' experience in managing a large portfolio of student properties. Homes for Students currently operates over 40,000 beds in more than 180 properties across the UK and Ireland and has a significant pipeline of projects under development. Offering lettings and facilities management services, the collaboration between IPG and Homes for Students, under their Urban Student Life brand will ensure exceptional customer service and a commitment to ensure that residents come first.

With Homes for Students being part of the Client Money Protection Scheme and the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, this will also add protection against rents or deposits for students and will give support to landlords by managing all searches and paperwork, adding extra ease for the new owners of the apartments within the Deakin's Yard development.

Collaborating with Homes for Students on this project, CEO of Integritas Property Group Mitchell Walsh says,

"This new partnership really shows our commitment to the students of the town, providing them with high-quality accommodation. We are committed to ensuring Deakin's Yard will be managed and operated to the highest standards to benefit the students and the local community".

Chief Operating Officer for Homes for Students, Scott Lewis added,

"We've been hugely impressed by IPG's commitment to ensuring Deakin's Yard creates the very best home away from home for students choosing to study in the Newcastle-Under-Lyme area. Deakin's Yard is the perfect fit for our Urban Student Life portfolio, featuring an impressive array of outstanding accommodation options designed to exceed today's students' expectations. Our onsite team will create the very best welcome for those joining us from September, ensuring they enjoy everything their new home has to offer."

Work on the Deakin's Yard development has now started, with expected completion to be early August 2024 with the students expected to move in during September, in line with the 2024/2025 student intake.
