SDL Auctions North West is inviting property owners to sell in its next auction after achieving an 80 per cent success rate at its first bidding day in Manchester earlier this summer.

The auction, at the AJ Bell Stadium in July, saw 20 lots sell under the hammer, raising £1.3m.

Impressive Results

The inaugural Manchester auction’s impressive result brings the total raised by SDL Auctions nationally to over £600m to date, with more than £70m raised so far in 2017.

Andy Thompson, senior valuer at SDL Auctions North West, has pointed to this success as reasons for more property owners to enter their properties in the next Manchester auction on 12 October.

‘A growing appetite for auction sales’

He said:

“The catalogue for our first auction in Manchester featured a strong mixture of residential and commercial lots on behalf of both corporate and private clients, in fact we sold 100 per cent of all the corporate instructions we received.

“This shows how we’re becoming a leading auction business, just months after expanding into the city.

“There is clearly a growing appetite for auction sales in the North West and we’re keen to hear from individuals, property investors and businesses who want to maximise their assets via a sale in our next auction in October.”
