A revolutionary builders’ merchant is set to expand its operations across Birmingham with the launch of a brand new warehouse in Tyseley this Summer, creating more than a dozen jobs in the process.

BUILT/, which opened its first builders’ warehouse in Aston last year, is on a mission to save professional tradespeople valuable time, with instant click and collect, guaranteed delivery slots, and convenient drive-through collection.

The new site, situated at Kingpin Industrial Park, covers a huge 66,000 sq ft and will stock thousands of ready to load trade essentials, allowing customers to pick up their orders at a time that suits them.

“Following the success of our first builders’ warehouse in Aston, we are delighted to be expanding across the city with the upcoming launch of our Tyseley site - offering the wider Birmingham trade a simple and reliable way to source their supplies.

“Work is underway to completely refit the unit at Tyseley ready for the grand opening in June and we are now recruiting for 13 roles at the warehouse.”

Positions available at BUILT/ Tyseley include Trade Associates, Hi-Ab Drivers, and Assistant Branch Managers.

“We are looking for driven, hard-working individuals to join our team as we continue to grow,” said Nick. “BUILT/ is embracing new technology and a fresh approach for supplying building materials, so a forward-thinking, customer-focused mindset is an absolute must for every member of our team.

“Experience in the building trade is preferable but not essential, as we offer full training for all staff to ensure every colleague understands the products.”

BUILT/ stocks a wide range of staple building materials, electrical equipment and plumbing and heating supplies, as well as kitchen and bathroom products, painting and decorating items, and tools, fixings and equipment - including workwear and PPE.

Orders are available to collect seven days a week from as early as 6am, and tradespeople can rest assured that if products are in stock online, they will be available in branch too.

BUILT/ staff are on hand to swiftly and safely load up the customer’s vehicle to get them back to site faster, while scheduled deliveries direct to site are also available, using a smart online booking system that only generates reliable time slots calculated based on capacity and average drive-time.
