Two years since its launch, Birmingham-based employee engagement innovator, HIVE360, has doubled the size of its team and launched a recruitment drive, in the wake of sustained growth in its client base.

HIVE360, which moved to its purpose-refurbished headquarters at 54 Hagley Road in Edgbaston in 2018, has unveiled plans for a recruitment drive that will grow its 20-strong team significantly. Its plans include hiring for new roles across its customer experience, pensions, payroll, business development and marketing functions.

The company has pioneered a unique mobile engagement platform that gives employees access to a range of benefits and services, from gym memberships and retail discounts, to a personal doctor service, pension dashboard and a mental health support helpline. Describing itself as a ‘champion of a new model of employee administration and engagement for the UK market’, HIVE360 is committed to empowering businesses to deliver essential communication, and affordable wellbeing support and benefits to their people.

HIVE360 CEO David McCormack says:

“HIVE360 has experienced significant growth over the last year as our client base continues to expand, and we roll out our mobile engagement platform across a growing worker base. We’re talking to businesses of all sizes who are attracted by the unique commercial benefits of our approach.

“People are every business’ best asset and main differentiator in the market, and HIVE360 hires only the best people, who are right for our business, clients and partners, and who have a commitment to delivering the best experience for our customers. We are looking to recruit for a number of new roles across the business with people who will live and embrace our values, vision, purpose and beliefs, to support the next phase of our strategic plans and expansion.“

The company’s growth represents an increasing awareness of the importance of employee engagement, as David explains:

“Growing numbers of UK workers, whether full time, part time or on a temporary contract, are looking beyond financial gain to an employer that recognises the importance of a positive work:life experience for its workforce. How much employees are engaged with the business and their employer plays a significant role in their overall health and wellbeing, and in turn has a positive impact on productivity.

“As employee engagement specialists, our focus is on developing a truly collaborative and engaging culture at HIVE360, and we are constantly working towards our aim of being one of the best places to work. We endeavor to offer an environment where our people feel they can thrive, grow and enjoy every day and are recognized and rewarded for their contribution.”

HIVE360 works with businesses and organisations under a strategic partnership arrangement. Typically, its clients are organisations with between 50 and 500 employees. HIVE360 also works with recruitment agencies to provide their temporary worker PAYE payroll of 100+ temporary workers.
