ReThink Recruitment has reached the milestone of a decade in business in Birmingham.

The Waterloo Street company was founded in the city in 2007, and has since gone on to create 23 local jobs as well as placing an incredible 4,000 candidates in Midlands-based roles via its recruitment service offering.

Speaking on the anniversary, Birmingham director Rick Knights said: “I am thrilled we’ve reached this milestone and can proudly look back on our track record of helping more than 4,000 candidates.

“We’ve got an awesome team of recruitment professionals in Birmingham each of whom work incredibly hard with our clients and candidates in the Midlands.”

ReThink has embedded itself in the regional business community, working with clients such as Reassure in Telford, Boots in Nottingham and Coventry Building Society, as well as completing a number of local charitable initiatives including the Bpositve Leukaemia support charity, to donating clothes and time on site supporting Sifa Fireside to sponsoring the kits of Woodbourne FC under 9’s.

Added Rick: “We are fiercely proud of our roots; we contribute greatly to the region – be that through our charitable endeavours or our efforts in promoting the region’s businesses through effectively managing recruitment here.”

The news dovetails with the announcement of a restructure within the team; founding director Rob O’Callaghan, a Birmingham native, has now been promoted to ReThink’s UK-wide MD, overseeing the entire open market recruitment brand at offices including Birmingham, London, Manchester and Bristol. Meanwhile four other team members have been promoted to Heads of Practice. Concluded Rick: “It’s been an incredible period so far and set us up nicely as we head into a second decade of existence in the region; bigger and in better shape than ever before!”
