One of the UK’s leading SEO agencies, Blue Array, has expanded its offering by making plans to acquire a new headquarters in Manchester. The agency, which has over 50 employees, is currently headhunting two new Manchester-based staff members for 2022, following their already successful recruitment of two Manchester employees. A team of four talented individuals will start the process of establishing a northern hub.
This exciting news follows a year of strong growth for Blue Array. Earlier this month, Blue Array won the best SEO campaign award at the prestigious EU Agency Awards for its work with retail giants Monsoon and Accessorize, reflecting the agency’s dedication to delivering exceptional results for clients and raising SEO standards across the industry. Blue Array were then named as one of the South’s most respected specialists in BenchPress’s latest survey, judged by 2,000 fellow agencies.
Simon Schnieders, Founder at Blue Array, said:
“I’m thrilled to announce that we’re expanding our presence to Manchester. Our planned new location will give us access to the huge amount of untapped talent that Manchester has to offer. We’ve already successfully recruited two new talented individuals and look forward to welcoming two more to our new northern location.
Our people are our number one priority and maintaining our culture as we grow is highly important. Our new Manchester recruits will of course have the choice to decide their working arrangements, from WFH, to coming into the office on a part-time or full-time basis. We wanted to provide a facility for our talent to utilise in whatever way they see fit.”
Vicky Kollnberger, Talent and Happiness Manager at Blue Array, said:
“When making the choice to move up north, we were looking at several northern locations, including Sheffield and Leeds. When compiling data across LinkedIn, Reed, Indeed, CV Library and Monster, we found that the stats for individuals with SEO in their title was far higher in Manchester than the other two locations. On LinkedIn, there’s over 600 Manchester-based individuals with SEO in their job title vs Sheffield with 134, and Leeds with 306. We’re hoping that with this huge number of local SEOs, we’ll be able to attract some great talent to join our team.”
