Over 65 professionals from across North Somerset attended a new networking event in Weston-super-Mare organised by accountants, tax consultants and financial planners Albert Goodman.

The North Somerset Professionals Breakfast was held at the town’s recently refurbished Winter Gardens in Lasseter’s Restaurant with the aim of providing an opportunity for the region’s business leaders to connect.

Albert Goodman, which specialises in accountancy, tax, financial planning and business advisory, intends to run the event several times a year following the success of the launch breakfast.

Chris Walford, Partner for North Somerset at Albert Goodman, said:

“There are few dedicated networking events in North Somerset. Business people from the area often have to travel to Bristol or beyond to mix.

“As a committed member of the North Somerset business community, we decided to create a relaxed networking event that would be convenient for local firms to attend and plug a gap in the region’s business calendar.
