A new nursery offering flexible childcare is opening in Bridgwater in Spring 2020.

Mama Bear’s Day Nursery and Pre-School will open its doors at The Exchange, Express Park in April, but is welcoming families to have a look around from early February.

The family-run nursery group which has 23 other settings across the South West will provide a Flexi-Care model of childcare aimed at helping parents who work shifts or as freelancers arrange childcare to suit their ever-changing schedules.

The premises were previously run as a nursery for 15 years and are conveniently located just off the A38 Bristol Road, easily accessible for families living to the North of Bridgwater. The nursery is in close proximity to the Avon and Somerset Police Centre, the Morrisons RDC and many other local businesses.

Tony Driffield, who co-owns Mama Bear’s Day Nurseries with wife Bev, said:

“We are really excited to be starting 2020 with a new nursery and opening in Bridgwater for the first time.

“The nursery is in an excellent location, it’s a fantastic building and we’re busy filling it with high-quality educational and fun resources.

“Our Flexi-Care scheme, which is an alternative to our normal booking pattern, means parents can mix and match the sessions they choose depending on what they require. It’s all about making parents’ lives easier and being a real support to the families we care for.

“Over the past 16 years we have developed a nursery group we are really proud of – we provide a nurturing, home-from-home environment for our children and offer high-quality early years education to prepare children for the big step up to primary school.

Mama Bear’s will provide affordable and convenient childcare for up to 80 children aged three-months to five-years.

The nursery, located at The Exchange, Express Park, Bridgwater, TA6 4RR, will be open from 7.30am to 6.00pm all year-round excluding Bank Holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year.

Mama Bear’s also offers Government-funded sessions for all three and four-year-olds as well as qualifying two-year-olds. Meals will be freshly prepared on-site.
