Adept Civil and Structural Consulting Engineers is celebrating its fifteenth anniversary and is on track to turnover £3.5 million this year.

The company has already secured £1.5 million worth of turnover for 2022 following several high-profile contract wins, with a further £1 million in pending projects.

A healthy order book will see Adept providing a full range of civil and structural engineering solutions across healthcare, industrial, distribution, commercial, mixed use, residential and further education developments throughout the North of England.

Construction is progressing for the multi-million pound, state-of-the-art Aspull Health and Wellbeing Centre, which will enhance inclusive healthcare services for local communities near to Wigan.

A development of 152 affordable homes is also being built on the redundant former Horsforth Campus of Leeds City College. Construction work is about to start on a new UK Centre of Excellence for LabCorp Pharmaceutical in a refurbishment project to revive existing buildings at Drapers Yard on Marshall Street in Leeds. In addition, Adept is working on a number of schemes for the Ministry of Justice in the North West.

Adept expanded into Manchester six years ago and last year relocated to new city centre offices at Number 7 St James Square, which sits between John Dalton Street and South King Street. The Manchester office is headed up by Neil Brown. Adept now has 45 staff across four regional offices in Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield and London.

We are significantly increasing the carbon efficiency of our design workflow using software and informed design choices, which reinforces our solid reputation for being at the forefront of technology. This commitment has seen us push the boundaries of Building Information Modelling (BIM), launching an innovative laser point cloud scanning service that enables us to produce highly detailed and accurate 3D models of buildings, landscapes and sites.”

Adept provides a full range of civil and structural engineering solutions, including structural surveys and reports, feasibility advice for new schemes, BIM services, laser point cloud surveying, conceptual and detailed drawings, flood-risk and drainage assessments and highway design.
