Communications consultancy Liquid has been shortlisted in seven categories for the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) DARE Awards 2020.

The industry-recognised awards seek out and reward the very best PR and communications professionals across the UK, decided by a panel of highly-respected industry experts across seven regions, including the Midlands and South West (encompassing the Channel Islands).

Liquid’s work has seen it shortlisted for Medium Consultancy of the Year in the West Midlands and South West regions, along with another five nominations.

The award-winning PR, design and marketing consultancy has offices in Birmingham, Guernsey, Jersey and London and was also crowned PRCA Workplace Champion 2020 in March for being a “leading place to work, live and thrive in the PR industry.”

In what has been a bumper year for the consultancy, in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, Liquid was also recognised for its public sector work last month after PR Week’s national ‘Top 150’ list of public relations consultancies ranked it fourth in the UK.

One of Liquid’s senior account managers, Hollie Jones, was recognised for her outstanding accomplishments by making PR Week’s 30 under 30 2020 list earlier in June.

Meanwhile, Channel Islands Director, Lisa Downes, was named the PRCA’s City & Financial Awards ‘Professional of the Year’ back in February after helping to steer many international firms through troubled waters from Liquid’s Jersey office.

Liquid CEO, Lis Lewis-Jones said:

“In what has been an unprecedented few months of uncertainty, our business has proved robust, continuing to strive forward and, as a result, we have experienced incredible growth and recognition this year.

“To be nominated for seven more industry awards is testament to the determination, hard work and exceptional talent within our growing team. We hope to retain the Charity/Not-for-Profit Award we won at the PRCA Dare Awards in 2019 for our incredibly important work on organ donation and add to our list of accolades this time around.”
