Staff from Midlands based brand agency, Champions (UK) plc, came together recently for a glamorous event to celebrate two milestones – 15 years at the top of their game, and the official launch of a fresh new way of doing business.

With the red carpet rolled out and Champagne on ice, more than 80 members of staff attended the event.

While the event was an opportunity to reflect on 15 years of success, a time period which has seen Champions go from a start-up to a £30 million turnover company, it also provided the perfect occasion to roll out the business’ vision for the future. And that vision is to reach their £50 million turnover target by 2021, £100 million by 2025 and to double their workforce over the course of the next few years.

The launch event kicked-off with an inspiring presentation from the Champions’ Co-Founder and Managing Director, Matthew Hayes. During the presentation he officially ‘cut the ribbon’ on 14 new business centres which includes the company’s ‘perfect 10’ comprising creative, digital, marketing, PR, media, events, publishing, advertising, celebrity and web services.

While the company has always offered these expert services, each of these departments will now function as stand-alone businesses, at the benefit of their clients.

Managing Director, Matthew Hayes, explained:

“I chose to showcase each of our 10 services as separate businesses, so our clients can add services they need and take ones away they don’t, to create a truly personalised suite of solutions to their business’ needs.”

He continued:

“Each of the departments are experts in their fields and breaking down the business into 10 key areas gives our clients easier access to the right people, who will always generate the right results. It’s been a long time in the making, and we have worked tirelessly to create this forward-thinking process, but myself and everyone at Champions are extremely pleased with the outcome.

“The agency puts enormous energy into winning new clients and even more energy into keeping them, and this re-structuring of the business is going to help Champions to achieve our long-term goals.”
