Back in 1991, Martyn Sole probably didn’t know when he started Infinities that a quarter of a century later he would have been the catalyst for a local company eventually becoming the menswear retailer of choice for any number of discerning gents.
Since opening our first store in Newcastle-Under-Lyme and our second in Hanley five years later, Infinities has constantly offered premium brands and innovative, on-trend men’s fashion – making our stores must-go-to shopping destinations.
And Infinities is a local success story that continues to grow as we celebrate our 25th anniversary.
Sole eventually moved on to start his own men’s designer clothing brand, Peaceful Hooligan, which is now proudly stocked by us, and Infinities was then taken on by a fellow local expert in the men’s designer fashion industry. The company is run from our large Congleton headquarters, and we have now expanded to 11 stores across the UK, and also have a large online presence.
Our success looks set to continue, as Infinities has recently been acquired by a well-established entrepreneur, renowned for his successful sartorial savvy with a number of other retail outlets in the North West.
Infinities has always been built on an immensely loyal and discerning local customer base, and has forged strong links with other local businesses such as the aforementioned Peaceful Hooligan and DUCK magazine. But we have also successfully spread our wings further afield and have stores in the likes of Bradford, Derby, Stockport and Warrington – as well as offering an outstanding online shopping experience, too!

Infinity is a place that is beyond distance, unreachable. But over the last quarter of a century, Infinities has enabled those local to Staffordshire and Cheshire, and those further afield, to reach out and have a wardrobe that makes others feel extremely jealous.
