A Nuneaton travel agency is inviting existing and potential new customers to join the party as it celebrates its first year of trading in the town.

Nuneaton town centre was chosen as the first Warwickshire location for the Midlands’ leading independent travel company, Millington Travel, when it opened a branch in Queens Road a year ago.

Now the team is holding a special party to thank customers who have supported the store during its first year in the town and to welcome potential new customers through the door.

Birthday celebrations take place on Saturday, October 15th, between 11am and 3pm, when people are invited to join staff for wine and nibbles. Guests will be able to have fun in the travel-themed photo booth, while a balloon modeller will be on hand to entertain children.

As well as thanking customers, the Millington Travel Nuneaton team will be giving something back to the local community with a charity raffle in aid of the Mary Ann Evans Hospice.

Some great prizes are up for grabs, including a Fortnum and Mason hamper, a Thorntons hamper, a spa day and various vouchers. Tickets are on sale in the store now.

Nuneaton-based networking group, FindaBiz, has supported the Millington Travel team in their first year of business and will be attending the open day to celebrate and to chat to guests about its new FindaDiscount website and app, which features discounts from a range of local businesses.

Millington Travel has nine Midlands’ branches and a business travel department. The Nuneaton branch is one of three new stores opened in the last year.
