HCML, the UK’s leading rehabilitation case management business has expanded its Bristol team from two to 12 since opening its Temple Gate office in 2017 and is set to double its revenue to £5m by 2020.

The team support thousands of people injured in accidents by project-managing their healthcare and recovery, assessing them, recommending and managing treatment plans and co-ordinating healthcare professionals, insurers, employers and solicitors.

Now it is supporting insurers and solicitors by launching a comprehensive one stop Treatment Service to co-ordinate hospital consultant appointments, surgery and diagnostic treatments for their patients.

Its commercial director Ben Dawson said that it will deliver a faster, cheaper, better patient journey and could offer savings of over 10 per cent in treatment management costs.

It will streamline clients’ administration by running this as a one-stop service alongside its established national Innotrex network for physiotherapy and psychotherapy treatments.

Since its 2012 launch, Innotrex work volumes have quadrupled and Dawson said that it has earned a reputation for complaint-free customer service, proactivity and communications. He said it has also earned loyalty from the clinicians and clinics in its network through responsible, ethical supplier management.

“Their quality and expertise ensures that patients get the most appropriate treatment first time, every time and this cuts delays and costs.”

“As the UK’s leading multi-track rehabilitation company, we know the challenges in sourcing patients the right treatment”,

said Dawson.
“We expect other rehabilitation companies will appoint us to deliver these services for them because of that."

HCML – Health & Case Management Ltd – was launched in 2003 in Croydon, London. It employs 70 case managers including specialist physiotherapists, occupational psychologists, occupational therapists, registered nurses, sports rehabilitators and has a medical director.

Its Bristol office is based in City Point, Temple Gate.
