Local marketing agency, Gough Bailey Wright (GBW), has rewarded two of its youngest staff members with promotions to a manager role.

Mike Leonhardt and Sam Wright, both from Bromsgrove and both aged 24, have played a big part in the success of the company’s PR department, organising campaigns and getting clients coverage on both a national and regional level.

Sam and Mike were friends long before joining up at GBW having attended North Bromsgrove High School together from 2007. However, both have different backgrounds within the industry with Sam having joined GBW in August 2013 as an Office Junior and Mike taking the decision to study Journalism at Nottingham Trent University, before joining the award-winning agency as an Account Executive in April 2017.

Michelle Wright, Company Director at GBW, said:

“We’re very proud of Sam & Mike and both are very deserving of their promotions having showed a real professional appetite for public relations. They have both worked extremely hard right from the moment they joined the company and we look forward to seeing them grow within this exciting new role.”

Gough Bailey Wright is the longest-running independently owned marketing agency in the West Midlands and one of only a handful of IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) agencies in the region.
