Gallagher has welcomed a new development director to its Bristol office as the insurance broker continues to grow and strengthen the support of its client base in the region.

Emma Pritchett joins the Bristol office from NFU Mutual, where she was sales manager for the South West, overseeing a number of agencies in the region. With over 18 years’ industry experience, Emma is responsible for spearheading sales for the Bristol area and leading a team of development executives, project managers and telemarketers.

Emma will also oversee the development and management of local community partnerships, including Gallagher’s relationship with the Bristol Bears, which forms part of Gallagher’s title sponsorship of Premiership Rugby. As part of its investment in bolstering stronger relationships within the community, including grass roots rugby clubs, Gallagher regularly partners with the Bristol Bears to organise community-based initiatives and competitions, to encourage greater participation in the sport locally.

Gallagher’s Bristol office, based on Temple Way, now employs over 70 risk management and insurance specialists, looking after a broad range of business sectors, with specialisms including transport, entertainment and live events.

Gallagher has a significant presence in the South West, with more than 300 insurance professionals across the region. With operations in Bristol, Exeter, Gloucester, Swindon and Torquay forming part of its 70-strong UK retail branch network, Gallagher supports organisations of all sizes, from large global companies to SMEs, with their insurance and risk management needs.
