CubanEight is celebrating its first award win of 2017. The agency was named Small Consultancy of the Year at the PRCA Dare Awards Midlands ceremony in Birmingham on Wednesday 5 July.

The Small Consultancy of the Year category is open to any company with up to ten staff, whether multi-discipline or niche. The judges, a panel made up of respected industry experts, were looking for evidence of financial performance, staff and client retention/acquisition, innovation and implementation of creative ideas.

The judges said: “CubanEight’s supportive and proactive approach won over the judges with energy and enthusiasm. They are a small agency with big ideas and big heart. Very well deserved.”

The PRCA Dare Awards seek to recognise the very best communications and PR professionals across the UK. The ceremonies take place in five cities across the country, each issuing 19 awards to those most deserving. The winners are chosen by a panel of respected industry experts.

Sian Gaskell, Founder and Managing Director of CubanEight, said: “I am absolutely thrilled that we have won this award. The PRCA Dare Awards are so well known within the industry so it’s a real honour. I’m really proud of the team for all of their ongoing hard work – I know that this recognition will encourage them and we’ll definitely be celebrating. It’s been a great year so far and I can wait to see what else 2017 has in store for us.”

CubanEight has also recently celebrated its eighth anniversary, and has been ranked within the top 20 UK B2B PR Agencies for 2017 by B2B Marketing.
