Leeds-based Creative Marketing Services (CMS) won national recognition for service excellence when the agency was named Head Office Supplier of the Year in the annual Center Parcs Supplier Awards 2017.

The UK’s favourite family short break provider, Center Parcs, holds its Supplier Awards each year to acknowledge outstanding companies and agencies from the thousands of suppliers that it works with over the course of a year. The top 5% suppliers were nominated for this year’s finals, held in The Venue conference centre at the company’s Bedfordshire village in Woburn Forest, and CMS scooped one of the event’s most prestigious awards. CMS was appointed by Center Parcs in April 2016 to provide a wide range of services in support of its national recruitment operation, including content and social media, email campaigns, data capture, copywriting, HR literature, online recruitment and advertising in local, regional and national press.

CMS account director, Pat Gallagher, said:

“CMS were delighted to be shortlisted for this award and we were thrilled to win it on the day. To be recognised in this way by a major client is fantastic reward for the hard work of our team over the past year. CMS is one of very few full–service marketing agencies to offer a specialist department for recruitment marketing and it has always been one of the company’s strongest areas of expertise. CMS offers unrivalled capability in this sector with decades of experience supported by a rapidly expanding digital team.”

Based in the rural surroundings of Hollinthorpe Hall, on the edge of the city, CMS has an extensive list of clients which include governmental departments and brand leaders in leisure, science, construction, logistics and retail. Staff at the company’s Leeds HQ has almost doubled since 2014.

Center Parcs revolutionised the UK holiday market when it opened its first village at Sherwood Forest in 1987, providing short break holidays on a year-round basis. The company now has five villages across the UK with sites in Nottinghamshire, Suffolk, Wiltshire, Cumbria and Bedfordshire. As a leader in the UK’s short break holiday market, Center Parcs occupies a unique position enjoying annual occupancy rate in excess of 97%.
