Lutterworth-based end to end logistics expert, Core Management Logistics (CML), is delighted to have been recognised for its contribution in working with Leicester College and its students.

On Friday 17th May, CML was invited to a ‘Recognising Businesses Breakfast’ event held at the College with apprenticeships being the topic of discussion. The event gives Leicester College the opportunity to say thank you to its partners across the county, who have provided assistance by taking on an apprentice, by mentoring or by arranging a work placement.

The breakfast event also gave employers and organisations the chance to network and the opportunity for a recognition and prize giving ceremony.

Yvonne Fenwick, Head of HR at CML, said,

“We have been working with Leicester College since 2017 and have developed a valuable partnership. CML has taken on a number of apprentices and we are supporting them with their chosen career path by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge for their future development.”

Steve Thompson, Head of Apprenticeships at Leicester College, commented,

“At Leicester College, we are exceptionally proud of our links with industry. The College works with hundreds of apprentices every year in a variety of subjects and the range of apprenticeships we offer is continually growing. With the help of employers and organisations across Leicestershire, we hope to educate and train the workforce of tomorrow.”
