Leading creative agency, Big Cat, is celebrating its 20th birthday this July making it one of the West Midlands’ longest standing agencies.

Founded in 2000 by Anthony Tattum, Big Cat focuses on their ‘Big Five’ sectors, including hospitality, leisure, retail, public services and not-for-profits. Big Cat’s client portfolio boasts regional clients from the heart of the West Midlands, such as the West Midlands Combined Authority, Birmingham LGBTQ+, The Bullring Shopping Centre and 2G, plus long-established national clients including the NHS, Mitchells & Butlers and San Carlo Group.

To mark their 20th birthday milestone, Big Cat is relaunching with a fresh new website that reinforces the company’s proposition of understanding human behaviour to create instinctive campaigns that drive people to take action.

“We know that the ideas that stir people’s instincts and ultimately influence behaviour start with getting to the core of why people feel and behave the way they do. We call it ‘instinct in action’.”

Anthony Tattum, Big Cat’s Founder and CEO.

“The last 20 years have seen a lot of change, challenges and development for Big Cat, and I’m immensely proud of the team and all that we’ve achieved. Undeterred by the uncertainty that many businesses are experiencing at this time, we remain fiercely ambitious and proudly independent, working with brands that we love, and with our new website and brand positioning, we are excited to roar on for the West Midlands and beyond.”

To celebrate Big Cat’s 20th year, the agency will be launching its ‘20 Acts Of Kindness’ initiative, volunteering and raising money for local charities helping to support those affected by Covid19, including Slow Food Birmingham, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and LoveBrum.
