Beattie Communications Creates Jobs Bonanza Starting In Manchester

Beattie, the integrated communications agency, has brought six new faces into its UK offices in the past month as well as three more in Canada.


A flight of new client wins across the UK and North America are the reason for the latest recruitment drive. New clients include Real Buzz and Trafalgar with the Manchester office also appointed to launch OneBus, an organisation representing all 18 commercial bus companies across Greater Manchester.


Senior account executive Lizzy Bramley has come on board in Manchester and Hannah Turner and Carina Everest have swept into the London office.


The digital marketing team in Scotland has been swelled by the arrival of Mireia Marques and Annina Aitken while Shaun Leinster has joined the Glasgow PR team.


In Canada, Jessica Harcombe Fleming has taken over as director of the Beattie Tartan office in Calgary, Monica Rossa has come on board as a director in Toronto and Deepa Pillay has joined the fast-growing team in Victoria.


“Business is booming with some of our UK profit centres hitting 20% growth over the last 12 months while the business in Canada has grown by 40%,”

said CEO Laurna Woods.

“In addition to the nine jobs we have already filled, we have an immediate need for three more people in Scotland, one in Manchester and one in London.

“We require another PR specialist, a senior UX/UI designer and an IT support manager in Scotland, a corporate and B2B specialist in Manchester as well as a London-based senior director with extensive healthcare experience.”


With 130 employees, Beattie Communications has 16 offices including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds and Glasgow.
