The Birmingham Conference & Events Centre (The BCEC), owned and operated by Cairn Group, today announced the appointment of Kavita Banger as Assistant Operations Manager at the dedicated conference, exhibitions and events venue.

Kavita will be working alongside Venue Manager Craig Bennett, Venue Operations Manager Mark Begley and Venue Host Adena Mignott to deliver conferences, meetings and events across the 1,000 delegate, 1,000sqm multi-purpose events space.

Kavita joins the BCEC from Aston Villa FC where she has worked for the last eight years. In her most recent role as Food and Beverage Duty Manager there, Kavita gained a wealth of operational experience delivering and running conferences, meetings and VIP events across several hospitality and events suites.

The BCEC is one of the best connected city-centre venues in the Midlands, being just a minutes’ walk from the Southside exit of Birmingham New Street station, and just 1 hour and 30 minutes from London.

Managed and owned by Cairn Group, The BCEC is also connected via a glass walkway to the Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre, providing 261 rooms for delegates. For larger bookings, the venue team can provide wider accommodation with several hotels across the city.

Day Delegate Rates at The BCEC are priced from £50 ex VAT per person with an opening offer of £36 ex VAT per person for a limited time only.
