Top 15 chartered accountants and business advisors, Haines Watts Leicester, are pleased to announce that from 1st August 2018, they have acquired the practice of Kagdadia & Co.
Ashwin Kagdadia, a former Loughborough University graduate, trained with Touche Ross & Co (now Deloitte) and then spent 5 years with Robson Rhodes before setting up his own accountancy practice in 1991. He had been looking for the right opportunity to join forces with a larger practice to allow his clients to benefit from a greater range of services and expertise, and thought Haines Watts would be a good fit for his clients who are predominantly SME businesses.
Ashwin comments,
“I am looking forward to working with the team at Haines Watts and being able to focus on my clients, without the red tape of running a business. This will allow me to spend more time with clients as well as some of the community and charity projects I enjoy supporting”.
Ashwin and the team have all transferred to Haines Watts Leicester at Hamilton as part of the merger, to ensure that the clients continue to receive the personal service yet at the same time have access to the additional services provided by Haines Watts, such as integration onto cloud accounting, finance, business structuring, research and development tax credits and support with international trading.
Sanjay Khullar said
“I am delighted to welcome Ashwin and his team and look forward to working with them and his clients. I am pleased we are meeting our growth objectives and our aim to become the premier business advisor to SME businesses in the region.”
This news follows a period of substantial growth for the firm having merged with Gutteridge Scanlan last March and continuing to grow the team further with additional specialist R&D consultants, finance consultant, payroll, accounts and tax staff.
