Vision 2017 has announced its full line up of world class international speakers who are set to challenge business as usual and drive transformation across Bristol’s creative sector.

Key note speaker, Blair Enns, is returning to Vision, which takes place on 14th November, to deliver a highly sought-after talk, ‘Five Constraints: Thought Experiments in New Business’.

He is joined by futurist Tracey Follows, Tarek Nseir Co-President of the British Interactive Media Association, multi-award winning Jim Sutherland, founder of Studio Sutherl&, and Anna Rafferty, Global Director: Digital Marketing at BBC Worldwide plus many more.

Now in its sixth year, Vision brings over 300 creative business professionals from the worlds of advertising, digital marketing, design, publishing, PR, TV and VR under one roof.

Delegates will experience a full day packed with new business ideas, and the chance to connect and initiate partnerships and collaborations among Bristol’s high profile creative community.

Travelling to Bristol from Canada, keynote speaker, Blair Enns, founder of Win without Pitching, is a return speaker for 2017.

The progressive ideas he presented back in 2010, on how creative services are bought and sold are still being discussed among agencies and this year he is set to alter perceptions again into how we do business, sharing self-imposed limitations as the keys to illuminate a strategy to success.

Blair Enns said:

“Seven years ago, Vision was my first speaking engagement in support of the launch of my new book, The Win Without Pitching Manifesto.

Seven years later, Vision is again the inaugural venue for my first lecture after the launch of my next book, Pricing Creativity: A Guide to Profit Beyond the Billable Hour.

I'm looking forward to returning to Bristol and sharing some constraint-driven exercises designed to improve the new business performance of any firm."

Over 15 talks will be delivered, covering a range of subjects that are pushing boundaries from ‘Creativity in an Algorithmic World’, ‘Advertainment’, ‘Joy & Design’, ‘A beginners guide to AI’, and the ‘Power of VR’ to ‘Digital Transformation’.

An expert panel of APG Creative Strategy Award Judges, chaired by Head of Strategy from True Digital, James Caig, will focus on ‘Transformational Thinking’, lending insight to the themes that emerge from this year’s winners.

Caroline Marshall of Bristol Media who produces the event said:

“Vision has become a beacon to inspire those who work in our creative sector and it confirms Bristol’s place on the world map as a centre for creativity and innovation.

Once again, we have been able to secure an incredible line up of visionary speakers who are set to inspire delegates, open minds and potentially change the way they run their businesses.”

2017 rings in some changes from previous Vision events, most notably moving to a one day format.

There will be something for everyone throughout the day including keynotes and a choice of speakers to listen to, and finishing with a post conference party hosted by The Agency Works at the Anson Rooms.

If all this isn’t tantalising enough, local celebrity chef Josh Eggleton, from award winning restaurant, The Pony and Trap, will be providing the catering throughout the event.

Vision is sponsored by a number of well-established businesses and organisations from across the UK: The Agency Works, Nomensa, Steer & Co, Cirencester College, University Centre Weston, Bright Events, and OggaDoon.

Vision is the only conference in the south west for entrepreneurs from all sectors to hear the latest in creative and digital business innovation.

Tickets are now on sale from £185+VAT, via Bristol Media.
