YHA (England & Wales) has announced a brand-new accommodation offering at the Eden Project for 2022.

Airstreams, bell tents and Landpods will provide glamping accommodation at the Cornish eco visitor attraction from Friday 29th April 2022 and are now on sale at yha.org.uk.

The new accommodation offerings will sleep between two to five people. The site offers guests a central location within Eden Project and is next to adjoining woodland and trails as well as being a short walk to the attraction’s main entrance and the famous biomes.

Retro-feel Airstreams are the most recent addition to YHA’s Camping and Cabins accommodation offering. Introduced to the network in 2021, the vintage American aluminium travel trailers, which have been manufactured in the USA since 1931, sleep between two and three people.

YHA’s premium bell tents sleep up to five people and, with integrated wood burners, eco-friendly solar lighting bedside tables, a coffee table, rugs, and soft flooring, they offer the ultimate upgrade from a standard camping experience. All bell tents also include a BBQ firepit outside.

For guests who want a closer-to-nature experience, YHA’s popular Landpods complete the Eden Project line-up. They each sleep up to four people, on two double mattresses and a single futon mattress, which also doubles up as the seating area. They boast LED lighting and a BBQ firepit outside.

All the accommodation includes beds and bedding. Catering facilities will be provided on site at The Hub, which will offer breakfast and a light snack menu for guests.

In total, the bell tents, Airstreams and Landpods will provide up to 118 beds at Eden Project. YHA will also offer wild pitch up camping in a field on the Eden site during the attraction’s popular Eden Sessions shows.

Bookings are open now for the accommodation which starts from just £79 per night.

YHA has been collaborating with the Eden Project since 2014. James Blake, Chief Executive of YHA (England & Wales) said:

“Our Camping and Cabins accommodation provision is very popular with families and individuals, and we’re delighted to bring it to Eden Project in 2022."

The Eden Project’s Chief Activation Officer Si Bellamy said:

“YHA has been on-site with us for many years now and it’s great to see our partnership continuing with the introduction of new Airstream accommodation, Landpods and camping. We are confident our visitors will enjoy this terrific new range of ways to stay over at Eden.”

Group accommodation for the Eden Project will be provided at nearby YHA Boswinger near St Austell, which offers 40 beds and is just a 30-minute drive away from the visitor attraction.
