This spring the team at Rogan & Co will launch ‘Local Heroes' a bi-annual week-long event designed to celebrate all things local.
The first ever edition of Local Heroes will take place this spring from Tuesday 16th April to Saturday 20th April.
During the week-long event Rogan & Co will showcase the farmers, food producers, artisans, craftspeople, artists, and the many people from the local community the restaurant works with, who all play their part in making Rogan & Co what it is - a neighbourhood restaurant.
A specially designed seasonal set menu curated by Rogan & Co Head Chef Tom Reeves, will showcase ingredients from some of the finest local suppliers and producers only a few miles from the restaurant door. With dishes featuring produce from the likes of Cartmel Valley Game, Lake District Farmers, Torpenhow Cheese, Eden Yard, Wraysholme Creamery and Lovingly Artisan Bakery to name a few.
Whilst accompanying drinks options will also highlight local producers too, including Fell Brewery, who have collaborated the team from Our Farm to create the second beer in a series of four, Courgette and Mint Gose, which will be served to guests throughout the week.
Priced at £79 per person, each diner will enjoy a four-course seasonal set menu with accompanying snacks and petits fours served at either lunch or dinner.
A matched drinks pairing will also be available to accompany the menu, as well as several seasonal cocktails.
