A stylish village pub in the heart of the Cotswolds is on the market with Colliers International.

The archetypal English village inn is believed to date from 1580 and is built of Cotswold stone with exposed stone walls, flagstones and hefty beams throughout. It has seven letting rooms and is very well presented.

And with an upmarket village location close to the Cotswolds hotspot of Stow-on-the-Wold, agents are convinced the Horse and Groom at Upper Oddington, on the market at £850,000 for the Freehold, is a sure-fire winner.

Peter said the area around Stow-on-the-Wold in particular had become a centre of excellence in the pub world.

The vendors bought the property at the end of 2016 to add to a small portfolio but it is very much the smallest of their sites.
