Hotel Gotham is marking its second birthday with predictable swagger, by launching a unique chauffeur service behind the wheel of a stunning Bentley Flying Spur. The luxury motor was delivered to the hotel this week and is undergoing rigorous quality checks before being deployed to ferry guests and diners across the city.

Joining forces with Gerald, the hotel’s much-loved vintage yellow van, the Flying Spur will be available for hotel guests to reserve, whether shuttling to and from the airport, or to exclusive venues across the city, and beyond. Given its widespread reputation for originality, opulence, and that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’, this muscular addition will fit right in. There’s just one catch: it needs a driver!

The management at Hotel Gotham are seeking a fresh recruit to work closely with the concierge team of Grant, Hartley and co, who have become firm favourites of Mancunians. Clad in traditional Gotham attire, the pair guard Gotham’s doors and stand as a symbol of both its classic and unique style.

Mario Ovsenjak, general manager at Hotel Gotham, said: “We’re extremely proud of the reputation we have forged since 2015.

“We have always prided ourselves on possessing an open mind, as well as a burning desire to take things to the next level creatively.

“As such, we’re looking for someone who will turn heads as our latest cast member, bringing a touch of cheekiness and further adding to the glamour our guests’ experience every time they pay us a visit. A friendly disposition and sense of swagger are a must, while a clean driving licence wouldn’t go amiss!”

Additionally, as part of the launch, Hotel Gotham is calling on the city to help name its latest four-wheeled friend. Suggestions can be submitted via the hotel’s Twitter profile (@HotelGotham), with the winning entry receiving a meal for two at Honey, as well as the maiden spin in the Bentley itself.
