It’s the time of year when everyone’s planning festive events or hosting Christmas parties, but Midlands Arts Centre (MAC) has decided to plan a different kind of festive offering this year. The events team at MAC has announced that the popular arts venue will be hosting shared Christmas parties in their main gallery on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 December - but instead of the usual array of artwork, they’ll be showcasing a special ‘night at the movies’ theme.
“We think we offer something very unique here,”
said Damien Vincent, Head of Customer Services.
“Not only do we have a fantastic space, located in the lovely Cannon Hill Park, but we also have a lot of expertise in putting on a good show. And this year, we’ve decided to go for two nights of themed Christmas parties, based around ‘a night at the movies’. There’ll be festive movie-themed tables, music and a three-course meal with coffee and welcome drinks, plus entertainment, DJ and a late-night bar – and an additional bonus is that we’re offering this at a reasonable price of just £25pp + VAT, so we’re hoping this will seem like an irresistible deal. I think it will appeal especially to small-medium-sized businesses looking for something affordable, but with plenty of character. Our catering team love a special event, and we’ll be pulling out all the stops!”
Offering a couple of different options whereby guests can book a whole table or just buy a few seats, as well as bespoke private party options using flexible spaces with stunning views over the park, the team at MAC hopes this will be one Christmas where customers won’t be staying ‘Home Alone’ all by thems-‘Elf’.
