On Wednesday 29 November, the hour-long family friendly experience will officially open to visitors. The first trail takes place at 7.40pm with the last walk leaving at 8.30pm. Visitors are advised to book their tickets in advance, as some nights are already sold out!

The Botanical Gardens will be transformed with a host of magical festive experiences. Awash with colour and aglow with thousands of illuminations the jewel-coloured trail will transform this hidden gem into a winter wonderland.

Visitors will be able to experience a beautiful interpretation of The Twelve Days of Christmas; walk inside a tunnel of lights and be immersed in the heady aromas of the scented fire garden.

Among the highlights will be the incredible Singing Tree. Using the latest technology a magnificent five-trunk coppice tree will appear to magically sing as visitors wander past. Inspiration will also be drawn from other festive pieces including Silent Night, O Holy Night and The Holly and the Ivy.

The beautiful Victorian aviary will be aglow with twinkling lights, whilst the entire lawn will be washed with fire-like illumination featuring over 60,000 individual lights.

At the end of the trail visitors can enjoy a Victorian Fairground with rides, games and activities as well as indulge in mulled wine, mince pies, hot chocolates and more.

The trail has been specially designed for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
