A Staffordshire businesswoman has revealed details of an exciting expansion which heralds the start of a new chapter for her unique venture.

Natalie Robertson, who founded Rise Aerial Yoga back in 2016 on the edge of Lichfield, is just one of the many entrepreneurs across the county that’s continuing to bounce back following the pandemic.

Not only are numbers rising rapidly every week at her studio - which is the only one of its kind in the UK - but she’s unveiled details of a significant expansion and milestone rebrand as the independent business continues to flourish and grow.

Company adds new strings to its bow as part of milestone revelation

While her aerial yoga studio continues to hold the title of being the only dedicated aerial yoga studio in the country, Natalie has now extended her business to incorporate a separate, dedicated hot yoga studio on the same Essington Close site.

The move has seen a delighted Natalie, who is being supported by Staffordshire County Council’s free Let’s Do Mentoring programme, complete a milestone rebrand to incorporate both practices under one new logo and new brand name of “Rise Yoga”.

Natalie also plans to further extend the studio’s offer to not only include more aerial yoga classes to meet demand, but to also introduce classes in face yoga, which is an emerging practice hailed for its anti-ageing benefits as a natural alternative to cosmetic surgery.

And there’s more to come in the pipeline as the mother-of-two revealed that she also hopes to take on more staff later this year.

“Yoga rebrand and expansion is incredibly exciting” – studio founder

Natalie, who lives in Lichfield and founded the aerial yoga studio after falling in love with it on her very first experience of it at a London workshop, said:

“I’m incredibly excited to announce that we are expanding and rebranding the business.

“Bringing the two yoga entities together – aerial and hot yoga - is part of my long-term vision to create a comprehensive and united yoga community on one site.

“Improving our wellbeing, including both mentally and physically, has always been at the forefront for me, but I think it’s more important than ever at the moment and I think that’s demonstrated by the continued growth in demand and popularity of both of these yoga disciplines.”

She added:

“I’m now looking forward to further building on the success of the business across the board, including with new classes and instructors, in the near future as the studio and our clients continue to grow in strength together as we approach our six year anniversary in September.”

Under the county’s Let’s Do Mentoring Programme Natalie and her venture are being supported by business mentor Richard Carty, of Excellerator and PR mentor Justine Halifax, of Angel Media, both of which are also Lichfield-based businesses.
